The management and all RCA staff are committed to impartiality in certification, inspection and evaluation activities. RCA manages any conflicts of interest and guarantees the objectivity of the activities carried out by both internal and external staff who operate in the name and on behalf of RCA. All possible sources from which a possible conflict of interest could arise have been identified at the source and eliminated; if not foreseen, they are reported directly by the operators as a form of prevention. Likewise, RCA does not have commercial and/or other relationships that could alter its impartiality.
Relationships that may be sources of potential threats to impartiality may arise from factors such as:
- The property
- The administration
- The personnel employed in the organization
- Financial resources
- The sale of services
- Marketing activities
- Economic/commercial relations
- Other
✓ in the service provision process there are various filters, i.e. different resources, which carry out compliance control activities of the processes in progress
✓ practical review activities and decisions are carried out by personnel who have absolutely not taken part in the verification activities
✓ the involvement of Interested Parties who have the right to access information regarding RCA’s activities
✓ carry out direct or indirect consultancy activities
✓ offer various services for commercial use towards client organisations
✓ associate the RCA name and logo with activities that promote favors and advantages in the certification, inspection and evaluation process
INVOLVEMENT OF INTERESTED PARTIES
Interested parties are guaranteed the possibility to request information on the management of the certification, inspection and impartial evaluation process through the information on the site www.rcacert.com
RCA identifies and solicits the involvement of the main or all possible stakeholders. Stakeholders may include representatives of (relating to the subject of the certification/inspection/assessment – e.g. quality, environment, health and safety, anti-corruption, gender equality, etc., and to the sector: construction, food, etc. ):
- customers of customer organizations
- representatives of industrial and trade associations
- representatives of government supervisory bodies
- representatives of other public bodies
- governmental
- representatives of public non-governmental structures
- representatives of consumer organisations
- representatives of trade associations
- the regional/national equality advisor
- representatives of other bodies, associations and organizations
Interested parties can request information from info@rcacert.com regarding the procedures put in place to guarantee impartiality in the RCA certification, inspection and evaluation process and their functioning, referring, for example, to:
- Activity status and accredited and non-accredited certification, inspection and evaluation schemes
- Progress of certifications, inspections and assessments
- Internal audit results
- Results of management reviews and periodic reviews
- Results of the audits of the Accreditation Bodies
- Outcomes of the periodic assessment of risks to impartiality
- KPIs
- Rates
The RCA Management will be responsible for responding to each request in a timely manner and in order to confirm the absolute impartiality of the certification, inspection and evaluation activities, in compliance with the applicable legislation on the matter of data protection.
